Ellis, Ph.D. Additional awards included the 2022 National Climate Teacher Award to Evangelina Mateo and Isabel Montoya from Greenfield High School, Greenfield, CA, the 2022 Books Motivate Volunteer Award, Charles Campuzano, Manager Systems Engineer, L3Harris Technologies, Anaheim, CA and the 2022 Books Motivate Community Service Award to Chris Bugbee, Ecologist, Center for Biodiversity and John Cancalosi, Wildlife Field Biologist/Photographer.
The Reception of Champions Climate Awards event is scheduled annually during the month of August. The National Climate Essay Student Competition is an annual program for high school students from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories who are invited to submit climate essays to win possible publication and media distribution with monetary awards from Books Motivate Foundation sponsors.
Books Motivate Foundation provides high school students with environmental conservation knowledge opportunities to showcase their educational literacy and achievement through this signature program for students in grades 9 through 12.
